Recently bought a house with an irrigation system. Lately, I discovered some odd items in the yard that I cannot figure out what they do. I assume that they have something to do with the irrigation system, but I'm not sure. Here's what I have. There is a "T" fitting which is flush with the ground. On either end of the fitting are 2 standard hose fittings (female end) which are capped. I hooked up a hose to this thing and water came out of a 1/2" PVC pipe which is about 18' away and also flush with the ground. Today, I discovered 2 more of the "T" fittings roughly 6' apart and in line between the first "T" and the pipe. I haven't checked to see if these fittings will also send water out of the pipe or not, but since they are inline with the other, I wouldn't be surprised. Does this sound the least bit familiar to anyone? The tubing connecting all of this stuff is black, if that helps. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
