I would like to pump water from the lake and I know that I need a pump; I don't know what horse power. I also need a filter- what kind would I use? I already have the sprinkler system set up. I need a system that would help me filter the water from the lake. Also, how would I get continuous pressure in the sprinkler line?

I have a Rain Bird controler and Torro control valves. The system is 8 yrs old. The other day I had a problem with the front yard (zone 1) not turning off. Then several weeks later zone 4 would not shut off. Then the system started working without any problems. I turned it on and after zone 2 turned off the next zones never came on even though the controler showed that it was running. I disconected the rain sensor but the system still would not turn on. Help..Do I need a new controler or do you think the zone one control valve needs to be replaced. I can not get any of the zones to work at this time.

Thanks, but mine is the 521, not the 521A. The 521A is a different locator - they are not the same. I appreciate your help, but if you could get that one (the 521), it would be great.

Can you help me with instructions or just talk me through using a 521 ( not 521A) valve locator by TEMPO?
I was loaned one without instructions. I have a good idea, but someone who has done it will help immensely. You can call me day or night — need to know ASAP.

I can’t find a manual anywhere.
